I was finally forced to ditch Windows after a virus had its way with the backup-partition on my laptop, and I gotta admit... Linux is awesome. The only thing I can't fucking stand is the name of the distribution I'm using. "UBUNTU" ...It sounds like a bizarre African rite of passage ceremony with intertwined penises and hickory canes. "In order to become a man, you must endure UBUNTU."

Anyway, I was reluctanct to abandon Windows after using if for so long, but this is something I can get behind

Aha, glad you finally took the plunge... Yeah, I use the Ubuntu distro too, very convenient and pretty stable. Haven't logged into Windows for over 6 months and only then for a specific software I needed. Good onya for ditching that money whore micro$oft. Welcome to the diverse and powerful world of open source computing!

I hate Ubuntu now. It seems good on the surface but unless you're a computer expert, it's worthless as a bucket of spit at a jock strap convention

The only time I could actually do what I wanted, I had to use a Windows emulator. So, there you go. Windows 7 is pretty good
